Having the internet is wonderful I love how we can instantly chat or play video games with friends no matter where they are at. I also like the friendships that you are able to build. With all that said, I find that the LGBT communities with group centers have been a very wonderful place to meet others and to just hang out.

One time I was checking out the library at one of these unamed centers... and I was invited to join the senior canasta group. Canasta was a card game I really enjoyed and it was great finding some people with the same interests. Whether it's yoga groups or dance groups, trans support groups or just confidential std screening or testing the LGBT community center was an invaluable resource.

If you'd like to comment please share some of your favorite links and resources with me.

Do you have any trans resources? I enjoy the real world support groups.
